Sponsors
Thank you to our sponsors, Deer Park School District and the Deer Park High School for their generous donations. Thanks also to FIRST for maintaining a great league and a sense of pride that all leagues, including robotics, baseball, and football, need. Gracious Professionalism is a trait that all should have and thank you to FIRST for helping us maintain everything.
Thank you FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) for making
such an unbelievable league, in the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). Gracious Professionalism is
the big thing that separates this league from most. This league has the
kindness, intelligence, and fun that most leagues lack and need.
Because of FIRST's unbelievable league, the role of engineer has grown.
The role of mentors has grown. A robotics league where Gracious
Professionalism is accepted is what describes the great contributions
of FIRST. For more information, go to the FIRST Information Page Thank you to Deer Park Schools for All Your Wonderful Support and Help with our robot. We couldn't make the robot without you. If you want to become a sponsor, please email burg.c@deerparkschools.org or post on the forums. Thank you!
On The 13th Of February, because Mr. Stano and Mr. Burg are leaving for vacations, we finished the robot early and shipped it.
It looks well and it ran great during the test runs.
Nothing broke.
We made it past the building season! Congratulations Team 270!
Robot Almost Done
Mandatory Meetings Scheduled to finish project
Unbelievable Progress At The
Moment . We took the programming workshop and learned how to program
recently. The robot looks great.
Saturday Morning Mandatory Meetings
Deadline approaching in three weeks. Website directors getting ready to hit heavy construction.
Many Members Cooperating and Having Fun After one month of construction, planning, and meeting, the team especially new freshmen, are getting excited. At the current moment, the majority of the team members are freshmen. Because of the work on the robots, the entire team is excited and ready to continue to work on the robot ". The robot looks fine, we have a website up, and the entire team is cooperating." That is what many of the players are thinking and saying. The future looks bright for the Team 270 Falcons.
While Working, The Team Has Tons of Fun Even though the team may be in "Overdrive", they still have time for tons of fun. Mr. Burg and Mr. Stano are very happy about the pace that they are going on and they continue to have their entertainment.
Great Mentors Help Out Team A Lot The great mentors who have helped out this team so much are the reason for the great success of the team. Pak, Troy, Mr. Cotrone, and Allison have all cooperated and helped the team, teaching the freshman about the program and making sure no injuries would occur. Mr. Stano, the new assistant coordinator, has helped the team out so much. If it were not for his cooperation and help, the team would not be as successful as it is right now.
